10:34Thank you.
10:34they did not have any comments at this time i see that we have a resolution on so i'd like to have
10:41it amended or discussed i'd like to discuss it with whoever their engineer is okay um
10:56yeah so i can put i'll i'll amend it to include two uh for the i'll amend it so that they um
11:04include the concern um in regards to what you're asking of the drainage we can direct your comments
11:10to drew and then he can reply to drew dillingham because he reviewed the plan he's down in there
11:16and we can refer to him with your specific question and then marissa can answer it within
11:22the body of the resolution yeah okay that'll be fun so this will be as amended then correct
11:28yeah i think that's fine i mean she has a condition in that it needs final approval by the
11:32town engineer i think that's fine
11:34and unless eric has strong thoughts on her life you know i think if we just admit
11:39okay yeah i mean so yeah one of the recommendations i had was satisfy the comments from the
11:45town engineer um so while we're having conversations with them if there's any further
11:49things that i do want to hear from someone okay so i'll make that as amended
11:59anybody else
12:04so i will i uh like it was stated there's a resolution on um to grant um administrative
12:14approval for it i will put that in as part of the um amended to grant the administrative
12:24yeah i'll make sure he addresses uh your comments
12:30that was it thank you
12:34all right
12:39comments on resolutions
12:56okay
12:59good evening afternoon actually martin san lusky architect 215 ronald cabinet
13:04um just a couple items um in reviewing the resolution um just wanted to note that uh the
13:12planning comments which are suffolk county planning which are basically recommendations um
13:19basically all the items are being taken care of especially which application
13:24i'm sorry uh this is on the resolution 2026-001 uh for 305 west main street okay
13:34so um uh the planning county planning commission came back with a bunch of comments all of which
13:41are pretty much generalized many of which along the river are covered by the dec permit
13:45that we're obtaining um but there were a couple of comments one was they recommend a pedestrian
13:53walkway connecting to main street and we don't show one currently but we i mean i'm just asking
13:59you would you prefer that we show a caver type sidewalk from alongside the
14:06driveway access onto the site or right now we don't have one if I could just
14:11interject since I worked on this we had discussed this we had a public hearing
14:14the comments from the Planning Commission were in my staff report which
14:17was reviewed by the applicant their representatives and the planning board
14:22so like so Lucy said they are comments they're not requirements at no time
14:29did myself or the planning board break up wanting to put in that walkway so
14:34it's not in my conditions of the preliminary approval so it's something
14:41that you intend to do anyway my apologies to Heather because I literally
14:47just read this while I was sitting there sorry I emailed it Tuesday but the
14:52comments from the Planning Commission were have been around since we discussed
14:57this with the Planning Board and again it never really came up
14:59this now and I think it's a good thing that we're doing this now and I think
14:59it's a good thing that we're doing this now and I think it's a good thing that we're doing this now and I think
14:59as an issue I do like to recite all of the referral comments this there's a
15:04sidewalk along the property frontage yeah the frontage on the street has a
15:08sidewalk well we don't have a little sidewalk adjacent to our curb cut with
15:12you know like a little area where somebody could walk from the sidewalk
15:15what other than across the grass or in the curb cuts to walk to the to the
15:19building right yeah well they're gonna walk through the parking lot no matter
15:24what the drive the driveway entrance yes you see it's it's recommended or
15:29is this something they have to do it's rich was recommended by the county in
15:34their comments it's not a requirement does any other business along Main
15:38Street have the exact same thing not that I know off the top of my head I
15:43don't I don't see how you can force one business and the other ones don't have
15:47again like I like to recite all referral comments in my preliminary approval
15:52resolution so it's not uncommon for everything to go in there and then you
15:57know what shakes out at the end are the required
15:59conditions in order to move to file approval so and you don't have it in
16:03your conditions of the approval I'm just bringing it up because they had it in
16:06here so it's not required based on the resolution the only other note in there
16:12which was that they talked about the 50% open space they're wrong about that and
16:18the other thing about the buffer to their park land that was a CBA action
16:22that we received so really nothing in there yeah as noted the letter was dated
16:26April 24th so again I put in all the
16:29referral comments just as sort of like as a summation of how the application has
16:34progressed and as noted earlier in the application they did receive relief for
16:38the the landscaped area of budding the land owned and they actually tweaked
16:44their site plan a bit to conform to the 50% hence why they didn't need relief so
16:49yes this Suffolk County Planning Commission comments are outdated but I
16:54do like to recite them in there that way everything that was reviewed as part of
16:58this application is in
16:59the approval resolution how big an area we talking about literally walking you
17:06say walking across the grass by 20 feet I think we are to the right along here
17:11just just to the east it is paved that's 7-eleven all right yeah but the property
17:18in between is the parkland it's yeah directly east of this property is just
17:26wooded so it's not going to be developed with anything
17:29it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it
17:59our resolutions but throughout the course of the discussion of this application it didn't come up so
18:07as as to the conditions though in the in the application uh there's been a request from the
18:13fire marshal a recommendation to include the two rear doors they're not even close to being required
18:20by code there is no code requirement for those exits and the property from the front is going
18:26to slope down to the back that's going to remain natural so we really don't want to put those
18:31entrances in is that something that if the fire marshal does not require it when we come back for
18:37final that can be eliminated as a condition yeah i don't see why not i mean the fire marshal wrote
18:43that memo in june um i wasn't made aware that it wasn't a code requirement so again it's an old so
18:51we have time on the final two years why he made that recommendation is there any interest in that
18:56section
18:56in the building i didn't ask him i can ask him but again typically like recommendations from the
19:02fire marshal i work into the approval resolutions and again that memo has been around since june of
19:072025 so i put the condition um into the required plan reviews revisions if it's something that's
19:13not required by code and he's okay with writing another memo saying he doesn't need them i will
19:18just recite that in the final approval right if it's not required by code my point is like all of
19:24these memos were done
19:26months ago so and on the uh item uh 5 romanайайайайайайайайайайайайайайайайайайай
19:33for landscaping plan that's going to be included on the dec permit that we get because it's a destination
19:40it shows all of the dec plantings provide a copy i will forward it to the arb for approval so
19:47and then lastly on item um b it it basically i think is that referring to a swip because we know
19:56Oh, it is?
19:57Just to show that you're going to be maintaining, like during construction,
20:01we want to make sure that you have the silt fencing and all protection measures
20:04so that you're not discharging runoff into the river.
20:07And that was actually in my staff report as a recommendation.
20:11That would then be covered in the DEC permit also.
20:14Perfect.
20:14Okay, thank you.
20:15I just wanted to clarify those items.
20:16Thank you very much.
20:19Thanks, Heather.

comments on resolutions

okay good evening afternoon actually martin san lusky architect 215 ronald cabinet um just a couple items um in reviewing the resolution um just wanted to note that uh the planning comments which are
