1:37things that are going on this weekend.
1:40And as
1:42we know, tomorrow is Thursday, September
1:4411th, and
1:459-11 always brings back
1:48a lot of memories and a lot of concerns
1:49of things that happened on that
1:51day 24 years
1:53ago, I believe it was.
1:56So we will be having
1:58at 10 o'clock in the morning,
1:59and we will be in Calverton at
2:01the 9-11 Memorial
2:02on Edwards Avenue and Riley
2:05Avenue, and we will do a ceremony
2:07there. And then 6 o'clock
2:09tomorrow night, up
2:11at Reeves Memorial Park on the
2:13corner of Reeves and
2:15Park Road and
2:17Sound Avenue, the
2:19Reeves Park Association
2:22puts together a really nice
2:23memorial for 9-11.
2:25That starts at 6 o'clock.
2:27Those are both tomorrow.
2:29Now on Saturday,
2:31the 13th, September 13th,
2:33Racetrack Knot Street from 1pm
2:35to 10pm,
2:37up at Epcow.
2:39Then we have the East End Church
2:41Unity Day by Church of the Harvest.
2:43That's in Grangeable Park
2:45downtown. That's on Saturday
2:47from 2pm to 8pm.
2:50The American Legion
2:51on Saturday also
2:53has their annual pig roast.
2:55That's from 3pm to 7pm,
2:57and that's at the American Legion on
2:594th Avenue.
3:01And we have the Long Island Antique
3:03Power Association. They have their
3:05annual truck pool Saturday
3:07from 9 to 5. That's up at Hallockville
3:09up on Sound Avenue.
3:11And the East End Arts has
3:13their soiree. Soiree?
3:15Soiree. Soiree.
3:17Or a soiree.
3:19It's a fundraiser gala,
3:21and that's at 6pm,
3:23and that's at Strong's Water Club
3:25and Marina out in Mattatuck.
3:27So a lot of events going on.
3:29This weekend, a lot of choices for things
3:31to do for people.
3:33So I suggest go out and attend
3:35one or two or all of these and
3:37realize what
3:39Riverhead is all about, especially
3:41in the early fall. You can eat garlic
3:43on Sunday at the Garlic Festival. Garlic at the
3:45festival right at the
3:47end of Northville Turnpike and
3:49Sound Avenue, the annual Garlic Festival.

4:45employees in the Recreation Department.

4:53was, as we all know, provisional.

6:27to the State of New York Unified Court System for 2025-2026 J-CAP Grant.
6:33This is a grant they get every year.
6:35It's a $30,000 grant that Justice Court applies for and gets every year.
6:40Number 12, Authorizes Amendment number 8 of Agreement with U.S. Department of the Interior U.S. Geological Survey.
6:49That's to help develop some new wells possibly or well sites for the Water District.
6:55Number 13, Authorizes the Supervisor to Execute a Grant Application.
6:56This is a grant that authorizes the Supervisor to execute a license agreement with Darkside Productions Inc.
7:01This is so Bob can dress up as a ghost and scare everybody.
7:07And so our fire marshals can...
7:09Number 14, Designates Alcohol Service Vendors to Serve Alcohol at the Riverhead Country Fair 2025 Street Festival
7:17and authorizes the Supervisor to execute a license agreement with Designated Alcohol Service Vendors and Riverhead Townscape Incorporated.
7:26Number 15, Authorizes the Town Clerk to publish and post notice to bidders for removal and disposal of hazardous waste.
7:36Number 16, Rejects bids for truck parts and authorizes Town Clerk to publish and post notice to bidders for re-bid for truck parts.
7:44Number 17, Awards bid for auto parts.
7:48Number 18, Awards bid for Ford auto parts.

Under open session, we have just resolved resolutions today, so we'll go through the resolution packet, but before I do that, let me just make a couple comments on some things that are going on this weekend. And as we know, tomorrow is Thursday, September 11th, and 9-11 always brings back a lot of memories and a lot of concerns of things that happened on that day 24 years ago, I believe it was. So we will be having at 10 o'clock in the morning, and we will be in Calverton at the 9-11 Memorial on Edwards Avenue and Riley Avenue, and we will do a ceremony there. And then 6 o'clock tomorrow night, up at Reeves Memorial Park on the corner of Reeves and Park Road and Sound Avenue, the Reeves Park Association puts together a really nice memorial for 9-11. That starts at 6 o'clock. Those are both tomorrow. Now on Saturday, the 13th, September 13th, Racetrack Knot Street from 1pm to 10pm, up at Epcow. Then we have the East End Church Unity Day by Church of the Harvest. That's in Grangeable Park downtown. That's on Saturday from 2pm to 8pm. The American Legion on Saturday also has their annual pig roast. That's from 3pm to 7pm, and that's at the American Legion on 4th Avenue. And we have the Long Island Antique Power Association.
