Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you. So our 250 ball is in the rearview mirror. And moving forward, we have a meeting, this afternoon, to finalize our plans for our next event, which is going to be May 1st at the Suffolk Theater. It's going to be like a great Gatsby kind of theme. If it's as much of a success as what we just had with the ball, you're definitely going to want to participate in this. So I'll have more information on that, but we keep rolling along and doing great things. I also have, next Thursday, the Heidi's Helping Angels scholarship dinner, which is in memory of Heidi Baer, who was an EMT who lost her life with Riverhead RVAC on her way to a call. The ambulance was in an accident and unfortunately she lost her life. So we like to honor her and keep her memory and we hope that many people come and participate. Thank you. Thank you very much. Anyone else? Okay. Well, we will begin our open session today. In our open session, we have matters surrounding Chapter 289-12 and those are, for some odd reason, with our Officer Palo. I'm sorry, Councilwoman Palo. A little, I'm a little behind, right? I'm a little behind, right? I'm a little behind, right? I'm a little behind, right? I'm a little behind, right? Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. off for everyone because looking at it on the page it's kind of difficult I mean I know we're all familiar with these roads here and that way everybody watching can see okay so this amendment is just proposing as you can see in that chapter there's there are many residential roads that have certain times that you can and cannot work on them so this road in particular as you can see there are a couple of medical offices you want to do it on the big one so sorry yes there are a couple of medical offices right off of Roanoke as you can see Roanoke is a wider road it's more of a main road but when these parking lots fill up during peak hours of medical appointments people have been parking all along the northerly side of this road it's a big issue because as you can see these are single-family homes with driveways and it gets extremely bunched up over there and it's difficult for cars to pass and it's extremely unsafe so this would just be as any other you know as you can see there's plenty of other residential streets that we've done similar things on it's just to add that one particular area to alleviate the congestion so there's any questions plenty of room at the Staples Park property for an extension of the road. Thank you. Second question from Kim she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery she's from Montgomery Just for a little extra context, they didn't necessarily ask for this code change specifically. They expressed frustration with the parking situation at Advanced Dermatology. And so in talking with this with Counselor Pilo and with Rich Downs in Code Enforcement, we came up with this as a remedy for that. And if it needs to be adjusted, it can be adjusted. But it's sort of tailored just to affect weekdays when that office is open. So after six weekends, you know, whoever has anyone that needs to park there, it's completely fine. Good stuff. I much appreciate the visuals and all of the description. Anybody have questions? Nope, I loved them. Yeah, it was great. Thank you for the added info. And with everyone's permission, if I could put this in the chat, I would put this in for a publish and post for a public hearing. Yes, that would be great. Great. Thank you. Enjoy your maps. You can keep those. I would encourage the residents there to come to that public hearing. Yeah, that would be helpful.
So with that, today we wrap up actually our work session very quickly. And so I'd just like to ask for a first and second. To enter into an executive session with contractual matters surrounding potential, contractual agreement related to the Perkins Power Station with Kern and Hurley, and then litigation matters surrounding litigation between the Town of Riverhead and a former employee with Councillor Howard, and matters surrounding updated on litigation between the Gigliotta and the Town of Riverhead with Howard again, and matters surrounding litigation between the Town of Riverhead and Suffolk County with Halpin and Howard. Can I please have a first and a second? Okay. So moved. Second. All in favor? Aye. Aye. Adjourned. Adjourned. Adjourned. Adjourned. Adjourned. Adjourned. Adjourned.
