2:29So this is a pass-through grant that will go to, if awarded, go to Georgia Green Ventures for the development of a new mixed-use building at 426 West Main Street, which will be a market-rate apartment with retail and restaurant on the first floor.
2:46It's directly across from the river on the north side of West Main Street, sort of near Farm Country Kitchen.
2:54Really would be a nice bookend to downtown.
2:56This provides money for infrastructure.
2:58The state.
2:59When we connected with the pro-housing program, which we did last year, and we were able to get funding for infrastructure for the Suffolk Theater and also for the amphitheater project.
3:12This gives us access to funds that if you are not a pro-housing community, you cannot get.
3:17So we have the opportunity to work as a pass-through for funding for infrastructure for this project.
3:22It'll help pay for sewer connections, water connections, and electrical traffic work and things like that.
3:28And make that project a success.
3:29And make that project a reality, which we think is a good one.
